During our session, you will play; you will feel; and you will connect with yourself and your surroundings. I will do my part to ensure you feel held and cared for in a loving and supportive environment. I aim to capture authentic moments and the slightest changes in emotion. That is why you will receive a large digital album as opposed to a highly curated, much smaller selection. So much happens minute to minute and I want you to be able to remember it all!
Being photographed by Lana was a healing experience in itself. From the enchanting hand picked locations to her loving words of encouragement, the entire shoot flowed beautifully and organically. Lana’s gift lies in her ability to make you feel seen while capturing the moments when your essence shines through. The end result is truly stunning. Working with Lana was magical! She took time to scout out our location beforehand, gave clear direction to help us with moving and framing our bodies in the photos and took extra care to be open and validating in all of her communication. Lana is the best photographer I have ever had the opportunity of working with!!!! As a non-traditional entrepreneur, I was looking for a photographer that could think outside of the box and capture headshots that truly highlight my purpose-driven work. Having simply provided Lana with one photo and three attributes for how I wanted my headshots to feel, Lana created an entire look-book that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
In a few hours time, we were able to capture the most beautiful photos I have ever seen of myself, amidst a gorgeous natural backdrop. I found out later that Lana had toured each location and made sure that it was the perfect context for my photos and message. Not only that, but Lana made the process of taking photos (which usually makes me feel very awkward) so very fun and empowering. She had me dancing, giggling, and taking risks with each shot, highlighting my unique essence and style, which is vital to my business.
When I received the photos, I was absolutely blown away. I felt beautiful, magical, and fully expressed. I cannot rave about Lana's work enough and anyone who has the opportunity to work with her will end up blessed and highly favored with gorgeous, unique photos, that truly embody and exemplify who you are.
